December the 6th CTW event clash!!!!

I have just noticed that there are 2 CTW events planned for the same nite on December the 6th!

One up north and one down south.

Will people show their loyalties?

There is only the Nottingham one now. The xmas party has been put back a bit - not sure of exact dates but im sure EllsxBells with confirm everything

The 6th December event in London WILL be replaced by one on or around the 16th December, there is something being planned at the moment for a joint birthday with me and Beckie In Lager Land but as yet, nothing confirmed - please note this will be a non-clubbing event due to lack of funds I anticipate most people will have due to Christmas and New Year so it wont be expensive, I will post something later on this week or early next week with details, any non-London peeps WILL be catered for, accomodation will be provided and yes this is a serious post for once. Once I know the full info I will come back to you! Please do not get this confused with whats going on in Nottingham - they are completely different events!

The event on the 6th Dec is the official CTW launch into CLub Events Night! We are to host the top room at 'The Edge' in Nottingham along with HouseWivesChoice. 9.30 - late

 

Am planning on getting mini-buses from London & poss Manchester organised for a set price that includeds getting there & entry.

The CTW Christmas party on 6th December has been cancelled to make way for our exciting 1st CTW clubnight. I am looking into sorting out a mass free guestlist somewhere in London for the weekend after which I believe is the weekend 13/14th December. Details will be up shortly.

I think some people maybe worried or concerned that the xmas party has just been cancelled for the sake of it ir to make room for another night.

 

The fact is ive been offered the chance to run a night in Nottingham along with another promotion as a trial basis on 6th dec. Although i was jumping around with joy at first as this is the chance CTW needs to really get ourselves out there & noticed i then realised that this was the night of the xmas party that was being organising.

 

I was then in two minds as to what to do -i didnt think it would be possible to do both as the Notts one finishes at 4 and i would have to be there all the time anyway. I didnt want to upset EllsxBells and other people concerning all the plans she had made towards the xmas party either as i feel members are more important than anything.

 

From CTW's point of view tho these opportunities dont come about too often - if we are successful on our 1st night they are gonna give us opportunities to do more. Which is what we really need to do to get CTW out there & noticed on a larger scale.

 

I spoke with Ellie about any chance of cancelleing or re-organising the xmas one and she has sorted it out. I said that if the xmas party couldnt be re-organised then i would not go ahead with our night - will leave it for another chance. At the end of the day - every member on the board is more important to me & i dont wanna cause a rift between any of you.

 

If theres anything anyone would like to do to help out on this night you would be more than welcome.

I totally agree with ya. Was a little unsure at first. But this is a big opportunity for us to get a CTW night going. The christmas thing will go ahead, just at a later date. The fact that the CTW night is gonna be in Nottingham and the xmas party in London will hopefully mean that between them more of our members will be able to come out with us from a wider part of the country.

 

It is short notice for a club night, but I know that between us we're gonna be able to make this the first of many excellent CTW nights.
