well its bassed on mozzillers engin and build in acsembly so it should be stable, but it would be simular to running netscape as thats what the moziller engin originally was banghead.gif

i'm 90% sure its ur ticker as (look away now if ur not a geek) ur ticker sets screen co-ordinates on the 'onLoad' event and if the browser is minimized when the page loads then the screen size will be null so the ticker is trying to pick imposible co-ordinates

try loading a page with internet explore minimized with the ticker on and then doing the same with the ticker off and c if that does the trick

Mozilla and Netscape diverged a long time ago, it's not a valid comparison. I also use Galeon at [censored], which is based on Gecko, the Mozilla rendering engine, and that's nothing like running Netscape.

Phoenix is not written in assembly, it's actually a rewrite of Mozilla written in XUL, which is the XML User-interface Language.

It's not the ticker causing IE to crash, IE crashes when you post, it's nothing to do with being minimised. And if that were the case, Galeon, Mozilla, and Phoenix would all crash too. Which they don't.

the other browsers u mentioned have a diff rendering engin so thay wouldn't crash, but ie crashes when it trys to render an impossiability - i'm sure its to do with the browser being minimized cuz it only ever crashed 4 me if i post then minimize the browser - as 4 the ticker - that was just a hypophasis from doing no more than glancing @ the code and cing it setting XY co-ordinates on the onLoad event - i would seriously suggest u try commenting out some of the scripts, each in turn to determine what is causing the crash (i cant do it on my end cuz the scripts r loaded locally, if that makes ne sence)

as the 4 browser comments - i just glanced @ the homepage, saw the src had an .ASM extention and put 2 and 2 2gether and made 5 tongue.gif but i was right with the mozziler bit, if a bit behind the times as its been a good 3 years since i last messed about with coding webbrowsers blush.gif
