on MSN there's a funky little feature called 'Appear Offline'. if you don't want to log out but don't want people trying to message you cos you're not at your pc, use that instead of stoppid ''i'm not here'' names.

the difference is hun, that my name stays the same and i actually switch my away message ON if i do pop away for a bit, so that people can leave me a message, should they wish to do so
