the Slinky all nighter was 9-6 as well, but that was only £7 to get in. The lineup at NEC is good, but you're still only be going to be able to see a few acts/DJ's that you really want, else you'll spend most of the time wandering between arenas.

I do get pissed off about these people charging so much. At the end of the day its just GREED. If not the greed of people who run the event, the greed of the DJ's on the lineup.

What with this and the SSS incident, Scott Bond is pretty high on my list of c^nts.

A bit expensive, yes, well definitely more than I've ever paid for a night out.

At the end of the day though, I would have been paying £18 to see Underworld live in Glasgow and for just twice that I'm getting to see a whole lot more DJs that I've wanted to see for a long time, all on the same night.

 

If they got rid of Jules off the lineup, the price would probably drop by a tenner.

I think most of the big names are overrated. There are thousands of DJ's out there who play far better stuff, and wouldn't charge 50,000 a night to spin them...

But peeps like Lab4? You can sure as hell they don't give a rat's arse about getting much money, same for X-Press2, or Halliwell. In fact, most of the Tidy Tent probably do it more for the music than the money.

You've heard the rumour that he's going b2b with Halliwell? I want to see Eddie-baby but not Jules. It'll be something like: Eddie works the crowd up with scratching+brilliant tune, then Jules comes along, does a reasonable mix but has to drop an anthem otherwise he'll get booed off. Then back to Eddie and the whole process repeats.
