My uni [censored] placement wanted me to [censored] on sunday, i've arranged not to go in, they were not impressed with me gave me a lecture about responsibilities and getting my priorities sorted! Great to meet Ed (Evilhedfuck) , his mates, Helenthenurse, and BeBe at the meet up for this, at the ruby loungue. Only wish i could have stayed, but an night of funky madness (see seperate review to be posted) at kinky malinki @ pasha beckoned. Txts from Ed and BeBe attested to the wonderful nite that they had at Serious too, so I would have been quids in either way.

Jeez what a good nite!

 

Started with a couple of swift ones down the Ruby Lounge,

lots of respect to Ian (Big_ee69) for coming all the way from where he lives to Kings X just to say Hi b4 setting off to Victoria for Pacha!

Met with BeBe (who's lovely) then off to the Cross!

The night started a bit funky with great atmosphere and happy people.

Dave Lambert played from midnite and was awesome, taking us on a journey from thumping funky trance to some rather hard stomping trance.

Luke Neville was on at 2, and calmed it down a bit, starting mellow but building it up with all those tunes you want to hear (Dark Sweet Piano, Marco V-Simulated, Darren Tate-Opera, Warrior-If you want me, to name just a few!)

Anne Savage came on at 4 and played a blinder and even managed to squeeze CJ Bolland - The Prophet into her set!

All together a well good nite!

 

Got to do it all again next month!

I had one of the best nights out in ages! Why have I been away from the cross for so long?? All the fond memories of past serious came flooding back...i feel a regular thang coming on! Roll on next month already

this is FANTASTIC guys - - so pleased you all made the effort to meet up - be well cool when there are like 5 or 10 meets ups on the same night in different parts of the country - would be even better if we have Satellite link-ups or web-cam link ups in the clubs to each other - you know - like out of Eurovision Song Contest !!?
