Get Kazaa lite, it doesn't install loads of shit on your computer, you don't get viruses and also has an IP blocker.

www.suprnova.org (note no e in super) is where i get most my downloads now...............IRC is the best though,you will find anything there,but as scream pointed out you need to be pretty nifty on a pc to understand how to use it.
