Well,fresh from seeing manchesters finest,the doves on saturday night,It got me reminising on past gigs,and contemplating the best one.

Seeing as I can't be arsed going through them all,beating off stiff competition from the chilli peppers in 2000,and the prodigy in 1998,has to be the mighty the la's in 1990!

Ok,I doubt many of you have ever heard of them,but Im an old twat,so indulge me.They were Fuckin great!

Anyways what was the last gig you went,and what was the best?

 

Any of the ladies been flinging there knickers at Bryan from westlife lately?Or have any of you chaps been reluctently dragged off to see kylie with your little nephews?

So come on,be honest,I eagerly await the most embarrasing.

Don't worry I remember The La's, I bet they were wicked live!

 

I think 1 of the best for me was Cypress Hill in 1992, or Public Enemy in 1988. Both wicked!!

Never been to a gig I haven't done much with my life Never really got into music till I started clubbing.

 

Went to Glastonbury last summer and had an amazing time so I'd have to say Faithless @Glastonbury. Want to see The Streets, I think that would be wicked.

The Streets did a couple of live tracks on Later with Jools Holland last week, wasn't quite as good as I thought it might be though!!

Proper, nasty gritty punk music. Both singer and lead guitarist crowd surfed (whilst singing/playing), mental mosh pit, and a [censored] great night all round.

I've just remembered another brilliant gig, Carter USM @ The Old Trout!! [censored] brilliant band, brilliant fun & major respect for beating up Philip Schofield @ The Smash Hits Party live on stage!!!

I avnt been to any gigs. I went to the radio1 road show at the American Adventure theme park tho, yeeeaars ago. Cant even remember who was there. I saw a local band on my towns bandstand once tho, they were called 'Legacy'. My mate can do a great impression of their manager to. ahh i laugh everytime i think of that impersonation.

Best gig i would haev to say would either be pitchshifter at the astoria in london, or Muse at reading festival this year, was absolfuckinglutely amazing!

they always do! been to see em five times now! Always gonna be played: microwaved, wysiwyg, please sir and GENIUS! They've been amazing everytime i seen em, although i missed em at reading 99 cos my mates dropped otu and didn't wanna go by myself.

 

The've just tured and are touring again in the new year to support the live album that's gonna be coming out, recorded on the tour just gone can't wait! they're playing the leicester charlotete which has something stupid like only 300 capacity, that is gonna be a mental gig!

Hmm,so thats 5 other people who've been to a gig before.Very poor.

Ignoring taras's obviously poor michael jackson decsion,I think neet clinches it with Bon jovi for the crappiest one.What were you thinking!?At least your redeeming yourself with the manics,good choice.

Pitchshifter are best described as metal mashed up with a bit of drum and bass.

 

That's my interpretation of them anyway.
