Yeah I'm a member of mixmag but I just don't have time to post any more. The mag's been going slowly downhill for ages, and u can blame variosu people for it.

 

I feel a bit sorry for Viv to be honest. It's not all his descision where the mag goes, it's been dumbing down for ages, and I can't really add much to what's already been said.

 

I buy DJ..... cos it's the best for reviews and music... simple

 

If I was 18 I'd buy mixmag.... but I'm not - so I don't.

I subscribe to Mixmag, and to be honest, it's only the CD's that have kept me in the past few months. The reviews section is awful

 

As for other mags, I buy Muzik, DJ, I-DJ, Jockey Slut and (occasionally, depending on CD) Ministry.

But that guy viv haven't got a fookin clue. target audience etc etc. i would of thought the target audience would of been the clubbin community not a specific age bracket. What makes me laugh is that he was talking about the kiddy side. Why not just nick the child toy section from argos catalogue? I mean that would probably sell better.

 

What muppet is running mixmang?? There website is [censored] and the mag is [censored]. I'm glad i left it alone all those years back.

Hmmm, Mixmag has gone a bit dodgy recently, I don't even get a good toilet read out of it anymore. It does occasionally have a good article or 2 in it, but the reviews and clubs sections aren't worth looking at.

I also thought it was a bit harsh this month about how much they took the piss out of Seb Fontaine's weight, admittedly he's a bit tubby, but they mentioned it about 4 times. Poor fellow!

Just read through that post on the mixmag board. Mixmag just aint got a clue. Only buy it cos of the Cd or of a certain article. I think last time was when *name drop* mate GTR was featured in it

 

Plus they were saying that the best tunes are only on the majors so they cant do decent CD's - fuckin bollox

 

Hopefully it'll go the way of Ministry Mag and shut down

It used to be good, don't really buy it any more. I think that it is trying to be to general and appeal to more people. It's trying to aim at a young audience but kids now days are more into Nu-mental
