I saw someone threatening to jump off a railway viaduct opposite where I used to live once. Mad bastard was threatening to jump into main road beneath. Caused all sorts of traffic chaos. I believe he jumped eventually. Just glad I didn't see it!!

Last nite got stopped from driving down a road by Plod cos of some guy at the top of a very very high pylon, who they thought was going to jump....lot of it about!!

 

Anyone see the documenatary about the firefighters during 9/11....(very very moving) they were filming in the 1st tower after it was hit but before it collapsed, whilst they didn't film the peeps who had thrown themselves out the windows (showing remarkable self restraint for media types), you could hear a tremendous wummmmpppp noise every time each body hit the ground.

 

Not an ideal way to die IMHO.
