The New Streets album..

Hey,just wondered if anyone on here likes The Streets,and what they think of their new Album...Got it Today After hearing few tracks on Sara cox`s show...I think there`s a few class tracks on it..."could well be in"...Really Relate to that at mo!..."blinded by the lights" just about sums up "E" use and The Clubbin scene!....."dry Your Eyes" is a good Chill Tune! And "Empty Cans" is good too! I am impressed coz I do Like the Streets....Dont Really like "fit but u know it" I think i prefer their first album tho....just wondered wot you thoght whoever has heard it yet!

YEah Blinded by the light reminds me of my Youthful days too!...Bout Five years ago!...Still doing it all now tho coz im still only 25...Sum of me mates Dis agree..just coz they settled too early!

Thats what I thought at first, but then i actually started to listen to the lyrics and found that they were very cleverly written

Agree exacty with your comments Pob and Aaron. Fee the beats and rhythms on the album generally are no where as good as as those on 'original pirate material'. But the good tracks are sufficent- a seven out of ten compared to nine for the first one...

Got this yesterday, and although not nearly as good as the first album I still loved it.

 

Blinded By the light is absolutley wicked & when listening to the words I actually got shivers down my spine thinking about the old days!

 

Also loved Dry your eyes, yes definately a nice chill out song.
