CTW Members LiquidEyes Posted January 21, 2005 CTW Members Share Posted January 21, 2005 What Ian is saying is quite simple. It is harder to beatmatch tunes where the quantisation/swing is 'looser'. I find this with some funky techno.
CTW Members LiquidEyes Posted January 21, 2005 CTW Members Share Posted January 21, 2005 i think, if you cant mix with any of these kind of tunes, them u mustnt be as good a DJ as you'd like to think!!!! ha! loser I reckon you will like harderfaster.net mate. There are plenty of people like you on there.

I find some of PVD's a right bitch to mix too, For an Angel being one of them, whether thats down to Quantithingywotsit or not I dont know... CTW Members LiquidEyes Posted January 22, 2005 CTW Members Share Posted January 22, 2005 What styles of music do you play? Some genres are more prone to loose quantisation than others (e.g. funky techno). It just means the rhythm is not strictly in time -- therefore it makes it harder to beatmatch.
