Villas would be better AND cheaper - if anyone has any contacts or knows of any travel companies who specialise in Villas in Ibiza let me know ASAP. Basically like Tidy do with the tidy weekender -they use Butlins - we need like a huge cheap holiday camp right next to san an town!!! We could build one ?! On a serious note SURELY there MUST be some kind of travel company out there who can sort out a good hotel deal for 80+ of us - perhaps even 100. The point is this - once the deal is set up and we can start taking deposits the whole trip will SNOWBALL and we could end up with SH*T LOADS of people going. It WILL happen - if not this year than next. Last year was a huge success - the previous year I went with 3 other 'non clubbers' - lol - last year i think we managed 30-40 over the 2 weeks - not bad going - and i think becky la la & co. will confirm that it was a right laugh. I'm CERTAIN we can pull this off this year but i confess i am just shite at organising. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY 'SPECIAL' TRAVEL COMPANIES WHO CAN EFFECTIVELY SORT THIS WHOLE THING OUT FOR US / TAKE DEPOSITS ETC... LET US KNOW ASAP We ALL wanna get this sorted and we cant leave it too much longer. I'm gonna get straight on the ball over the next couple of days phoning up a few travel agents to see what they can offer. The problem as ever is that people will be flying from different locations across the country. I wanted to do that for 2003, too, but in the end couldn't cause some of my friends flaked out... Anyway booked a lovely flat in Ibiza old town (for 5, really nice with terraces & fantastic views... ahhh wanna be there NOW!); nicer and cheaper than a hotel. You should try the people at Ecoibiza (www.ecoibiza.com), they are nice, helpful, reliable and all they advertise or propse to you is real stuff not some dodgy photos from a place they did rent but only in 1988 ( like most other sites do!! ) Talked to Roberto there, he speaks good English and French and is very helpful. My rental was all booked and sorted out in two days (received confirmation etc.) I'll be there 1st three weeks of August, can't wait! P.S. for clubbers in Paris, there's a great party coming up, "Panik" at Elysee Montmartre, next Friday 21/03/03. Great neo-electro stuff with wonderboy DJ TIGA as well as the legendary Chloe. Starts 23h30 till dawn (be there early in order to avoid queue), and for those that know and like TIGA ("American Gigolo" record, recent excellent "DJ KICKS" album and of course he is the "Sunglasses at Night" guy ... ok that's a bit dated now but it was great at the time) you should be there! I love TIGA and booked instantly when I found out he was playing there... CTW Members rachel Posted March 17, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted March 17, 2003 I had friends who stayed in a villa last summer the place was lovely, well worth getting one if you can. No worries about annoying the families staying in the same hotel & stuff like that. They had their own pool,massive garden, bbq and loads of space excellent for afterparties!!
