Actually, whilst hard trance is my favourite genre, I don't consider myself to exclusively listen to that all the time.

 

For example, I go to drum and bass nights down in bournemouth.

 

However, I can see how at times it would appear that this site is concentrated on the harder end of the dance music spectrum. However, to this end we are trying our hardest to incorporate events of different genres all the time, such as the Fabric nights, and we are encouraging other genres such as techno. Funky house is always present on the site in one form or another, but as said before it does seem to live somewhat in hard dance's shadow.

 

Rest assured, we will redress the balance.

Call it what you want, but why dismiss it when it is what got you into the scene first? Underground Trance, not mainstrem Commercial Chart Trance if you can call it that. Melodic trance is not cheese, its only been associated with that name cheese becuase it has hit the mainstream, so its popular as everyones knows it.

I play trance heaps.

It draws the commercial crowd in, so then I can teach them to get into other genres, such as hard house.

If I just started the night with hard house no one new would ever venture in .

 

Im into hard pumping trance, and hard trance, a bit of a vocal is great... K90 Breathe etc, or the crankin classic Dirt Devils - the drill. I'm a big fan of stuff like Flutlicht...
