Did anyone see it? Must have been the last one because they found "The Truth"! Was quite an episode.....

I hadn't seen it in years and caught the end of it last nite, didn't have a scooby what was going on????

Was it a crap, Dallas style 'It-was-all-a-dream' ending.

 

cos that would really piss me off.

 

 

 

 

the X-files peaked around about season 3 for me. The early episodes of Season 3, where the Government conspiracy crap that had overtaken the second half of season 2 was pushed to the side and the paranormal stuff took a stand again.

 

 

Of particular favourite is Season 3 episode 3, D.P.O. It's the one with Giovanni Ribisi (Phoebe's Brother in Friends) plays that guy who can control lightning and electricity with his mind. Superb.

I'm with Wub, I gave up on the X-files about series 3. But bizarrely I caught the end of last night. The impression I got was that they now had a mission to alter "The Truth".

 

 

As a total aside, that phrase "The Truth" always reminds me of a song I wrote about 5 years ago where I spliced together "You cant' handle the truth" - A Few Good Men with "Sir, they've taken Rimmer" - Red Dwarf, to give "Sir they've taken the truth". Oh the joys of Octamed. Another useless fact about Blink you never needed to know.

OMG!!!!! That was the first ever music programme I had!!! I used to use that sample quite a lot myself as it was one of the few I had! I remember it came free with an issue of Amiga Format!

As far as the X-files goes... I've only caught the last couple of episodes after missing the last few series.

 

The stroy vaguely went.... they found MOulder after he broke into a military installation and found "The Truth". On his escape he killed a super soldier (who's invincible) and went to military trial. In his defense Skinner called back all the freaks from over the years and strung together some loose story about an alien virus infecting the world and the government trying to save us. Interesting to see all the random bits come together but still a bit of a pap ending....
