CTW DJs Tony P Posted May 26, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted May 26, 2004 QUOTE (benrostwood @ May 26 2004, 02:48) QUOTE (Ian Cashman @ May 25 2004, 21:06) ...but how many 'classic' warmup records are there? lol i think maybe if you play the classic, but obscure mixes of it, so people know the track, but the mix isn't the one everyone knows eg. push - universal nation (flange & swain mix) every1 knows the ferry corsten mix and the other more full on mixes, but this little gem of a mix has slightly less energy whilst keeping the classic tune that every1 knows thats what i done last time i had to play a classic set, think it worked well too

QUOTE eg. push - universal nation (flange & swain mix) Good example. I always thought that mix was under-rated (although I reckon the breakdown is a bit drawn out). Nice and rolling/groovy/punchy, without sounding like it's trying too hard.
CTW DJs Tony P Posted May 26, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted May 26, 2004 i've got another mix of that tune that come in the double dack...very dark...but really nice don't help much as i can't remember who it's by. i'd defo go for this option of different mixes of anthems if you are worries Ian, of even a bit of both

Luckily was just at home Quote I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.
