YET another strange thought.

Mens and Womens clothes....they come in diffrent measurement dont they.

 

TOPS and BOTTOMS

WOMEN...sizes 8, 10, 12, etc..

MEN...sizes come in inches of chest, neck and waist

 

UNDERWEAR

WOMEN...Same as above

MEN...comes as small, medium, large, etc, etc

 

So why do shoes come as the same size??? Mens size 9 is the same as Womens size 9???

 

Is this so transvestites dont have to think too hard about getting shoes??

Heres a few more for you all to ponder over...

 

OK...you can get left handed scissors, can openers, golf clubs, etc, etc...so why cant you get left handed screws??? Surely the natural way to screw things is outwards from the body (right handed peeps go clockwise, so left handed peeps should go anti-clockwise), you get more strength that way too.

 

So someone should really make screws that screw in anti-clockwise.

Why do we have Pelican crosings and Zebra crossings in this country when we dont have any Pelicans or Zebras???

 

Souldnt they be called Lolli-pop crossings (Pelican) and Badger crossings (black and white...just like Zebras)

screws are to screwdrivers what paper is to scissors and tin cans are to can openers (and golf balls are to golf clubs). you don't get left handed paper, left handed cans or left handed golf balls, so why should you get left handed screws?

 

you COULD in theory get a left handed screwdriver, IF it was an electric one, because it would have a static grip, that didn't rotate round.

screws themselves are not particular to people, they are an industry standard and there's a reasno all screws rotate in the same direction, going in or coming out. in the same way as all mains sockets are the same and compact discs are the same dimension.
