Should the 'Jokes & Fun Stuff' forum be merged into 'Random Bollox' ?

 

OK, this one is my fault - I originally created the 'Jokes & Fun Stuff' forum to seperate out the really cool jokes/attachments from the random crap. But now I feel its a bit pointless having a seperate forum for these and in a bid to cut down the number of forums I think this one should GO.

 

Anyone entirely dis-agree ? If so why ?

I personally think it should be merged purely to cut down on the number of forums.

Keep them seperate, otherwise the jokes will disappear quickly amongst the random bollox and you'll be left searching for ages.

by cutting down the number of forums there is more chance that people will spot/bother to read through other forums. When you are presented with a huge list of forums you tend to just check the regular forums.

 

no we're not cutting them down so we can add others

 

there will be less going forward anyway as a couple of the events type ones will be redundant when the new 'engine' is in place

this was the original reason but then i figured that people can always search or sort the random bollox forum, plus there is now the 'File Attachments' link in the Entrance which allows you to easily find most funny attachments.

 

The smut forum will have to remain seperate however because of the nature of it !

people with no imagination of their own rely on posting joke stuff and attachments, instead of starting an interesting thread in RB...

 

nah seriously keep it as it is, because jokes & fun stuff don't really get discussed per se, just a few replies going "HAHAHAHAHA" or "LMAO" whereas RB is actually for talk. well, i obviously use the term "talk" loosely.
