I guess nowadays the games are so [censored] hot that no one realises what it was like when games came out that were TOTALLY new. Like when Space Harrier came out on the arcade, and all the controls were hydraulic.... or driving games like Daytona.....

 

Or (back in the day) when Elite fisrt came out - or Championship Manager 1 - almost 10 years ago!

its like starting a game as Man Utd - there is no point playing cos you will win!

 

Best way to play any of the champ man games is to start with someone like Hull city - THEN the game becomes a bit realistic To say you gotta thing tactics and finances thru is an understatement

I was Port Vale - got to the premiership but never got into the top half.....

 

It's funny - there's always players that are really good in CM and not so good in real life....

i think that is what made the game so good and got people so hooked.

I remember when i was of work for 6 months i used to play it all day i got into season 2037 now thats alot of playing.
