CTW Members Tina Posted May 6, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted May 6, 2003 why is it that u can put a pay as u go sim in a contract fone but u cant put a contract sim in a pay u go fone?? i have a contract fone but i wrecked it at the weekend but my sim still works...... now i have no fone and my sim wont work on a pay as u go fone it's pissing me off rant over...... And One2One/T-Mobile did too.... Now there's an awful lot of PAYG phones on any network (including Voda/O2) that seem to lock their phones. It's basically to try and make sure you don't buy 4 PAYG sims and just use whoevers the cheapest that particular month... But it is shitty - you buy the phone, you buy the contract - they should go fook themselves in dictating how you use it! But as has already been said, it's cheap and easy to get unlocked!
