[James] Interesting anomaly

I was logged in at work, and when I went home, I forgot to log out at work. Logged in at home, posted, and have now come back in at work, and gone back on my machine, where I was still "logged in". Hit the "active topics" button, and The colour scheme had reverted to the "Not logged in" colour scheme. The "Log In" button was there, but when I clicked on it, it pulled up my profile, instead of the option to log in. I could not post in any forums, however. [i didn't try and find out if I could read my PM's]. So it was behaving as if I was logged in (letting me access my profile, but as if I wasn't)

I went back to the entrance, entered my log in details in the side panel log in (I couldn't log in any other way), and it has logged me in fine.

 

Just thought I would bring it to you attention, not sure if it has any relevance

Yes, this happens to me but so rarely its almost impossible for me to track why its happening. Hopefully this will be picked up on and fixed in the next release of Threads.

Sounds like the Log-in link isn't taking account of expired cookies properly.
