80's was the best, sweet dreams, sun always shines on tv, blue monday, the list is endless.

Im only 21 but have a big knowledge of music from way before my time. You have to know where the music you produce originates from. I just love learning about music.

 

I love 80's music so much, my dad was a dj in the 80's so i grew up with loads of the best music around and always listened to it. Then my dad gave me his record collection - priceless!

I still buy 80's tunes now tho, they were some of the best productions around.

 

I dont mean this in a bad way at all but i meet clubbers every weekend who are Hard House fanatics or trance or whatever and all they listen to and know about is said genre. They listen to it at home, when they go out, in the car, in the shower, fookin everywhere. They have no knowledge of any music before say 95. Even DJs i play with slate me because i know so much about all this music, or slag me off if i drop say blue monday or sweet dreams in one of my sets. But these songs are timeless and are made by musical geniuses. Donna Summer - I feel loved is another.

i've been known to intermix 'hotbutter - popcorn' with techno in the past just to add a bit of diversaty to me sets, then me dad took his record back
