How do i do it!!

I've recently moved onto cds for my mixes, and have a cd recorder, the machine supports a tracking system but i cant get it to work!

Is there any programs i can use on my puter?

I heard that a wave editor does it, but that doesnt work!! confused.gif

Any help would be great!!!

ill be interested to see how other people do it as i actually cut my main mix up into seperate tracks using cool edit then when i burn it i just set the time between tracks to zero seconds....a very long winded process scratchchin.gif

i use SoundForge for recording & placing the markers into the mix, coz it's a piece of piss to drag the markers around once you place them down roughly......so u can get your tracks changing tightly against the first beat of a phrase or whatever.

SoundForge does have a function to slice up these 'regions', but i cant figure it out.

So then i save, load up the mix with markers in GoldWave, and use "Tools / Cue Points / Split File".

Then into Easy CD Creator, drag and drop all my tracks in, and make sure to use "Disc At Once", otherwise u get a gap.

the 2nd tad will say "Indexes, Limits, Splits" - goto that tab

from there on it should be straight 4ward - obviously u'll want to add 'splits' to it rather then 'indexes'

hope that helps

d'oh. i have used that dialog so many times before, i use it for cutting the start and end of tracks, etc, when i can't be bothered to open them in sound forge, i can't believe i blatantly missed the "Split" button.

was looking in the Audio Editor and everything
