I have to say the original trade mix is my favourite (of the ones I've heard). The BK mix is missing something, but I can't work out what? From what I can remember is it a bit trancier? CTW Members Mr Happy Posted May 14, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted May 14, 2003 techno doesnt really seem to have a style u can pin down on it. if u take modula's description then techno is such a narrow genre is amazing it ever came to be in the 1st place if u take my description then its basically ne thin creative with a groove that if u removed the bassline it would still have a beat to it. (like "umek - gatex") but when i'm talking about techno in 'i dont care' i meen the bit where it was just dark and dirty beats and percusion and other stabbing noices all intertwangled to create a groove with little melody yet still full of rhythem - understand?
