Nina I would love to have you come and move in with me, I currently have a South African Doctor living with me but she is doing my head in.

 

The room is quite steap though - £400 per month all bills included

 

I live in Mitcham Surrey, right next to rail, tram and buses so easy to get anywhere. I work in Soho and it takes me 40 mins all in. Brand knew bathroom, kitchen, decoration etc.

Hmmm & I was considering a house exchange that way or abouts too, mind you, i should imagine, council properties are slightly cheaper eh?? Infact to be honest, not even sure what the council house's, are like that way??

Council renting is loads cheaper than private renting but it takes ages to get a place cos of the lists etc and you need to be eligible.

 

When I was working for Wandle Housing Assoiciation their 3 bed properties were about £80-90 a week. Not sure of council house costs but they wouldn't be far off.

All's cool my way, you can get some real dodgy areas but the majority are all right.

 

The rent covers all my bills. I pay £100 for maitenance alone for the block I live in!

 

My flat it completely done up, wooden floors, minimal feel...just fecking lursh and I'm proud to boast! It's taken a shit load of effort to get where I am.

Kether, I wouldnt be on a waiting list hon, as im in a council property, it's just a matter of doing one of two options, A/ apply for a transfer, for when comes available, as I have family in that area & B/ council exchange.

 

But you say you pay £100, is that a shared house?/ Mine is my own 3 bed, not having to share, or anything, my rent is just under £70 a week.
