i don't doubt for one second that some immigrants get such treatment but your statement was that every asylum seeker gets these benefits. every one.

 

take a step back and look at it from my position - would you believe me if i said i could introduce you to every single one of those people?

 

anyway, i feel we're beating this one to death so i think i need to let it lie. i don't doubt for a second that you have some first hand information about immigration benefits.

 

i'm just struggling a little with your initial claim and, in the absence of any convincing evidence, i have to draw my own conclusions.

PS for the "send them back" lobby, there are some interesting figures at the home office website: 77% of applications for asylum were refused so it's not like there's an unguarded revolving door...
