i believe that we shud stop all imigration in2 this country. the main reason behind this is that terrosists (i.e. al-kieda) are using this as way of finding a route in2 the country.

 

Brilliant idea, then if we could get rid of the money grabbing students, the unemployed and the homeless.

 

also in regards 2 genuine imagrants the only reason they come here is because it is known that not only do we have the softest imagration laws but we also have the softest laws in regards 2 benefits.

 

Genuine immigrants, asylum seekers are here due to unfortunate circumstances, often as a last resort to stay alive. It is up to the law to determine the genuine from the freeloaders, it should be done impartially and without duress. Abas Amini, was prepared to go to idiotic lengths to influence this system into letting him stay, this I do not agree with.

 

at the end of the day how can any1 say it is right for people from other countries 2 come in2 our country and take homes and jobs that shud rightly belong 2 the british people. also by spending the tax payers hard earned money on bloody imigrants other services such as education the NHS etc suffer.

 

The British people are not a pure breed that have been resident of these isles since time began, it is made up from many cultures and races.

 

i think personally we shud take the same stance as australie who wudnt even let them in wen their ship was sinking.

 

Which has been met with large protests against the inhumane way that they are/were being treated. The protests were staged by the Australian public against the inhumane way the asylum seekers were being treated in Australian detention camps.

For some (not all) this will be to their deaths, or a life time of torture and being subjected to inhumane conditions.

Now the blood pressure is back to normal, go read up on asylum seekers, not just the tabloids, but from any source you can find. Get a varied view on the topic and then see if you still feel the same.

Its all to do with the tabloids printing extreme cases of asylum seekers, (remember they're only after good stories) there are good and bad, true and false in all walk of life in all communities. Choosing the real asylum seekers from the false when the majority have no means of proof other than their word must be so, so difficult and I would assume that if your face doesn't fit come into it more than once!

But, when you do hear about these cases of them getting housing, food, clothing and handouts, and you've been on the sick for 3 months with no help towards anything other than the £62 a week SSP and have to house, feed and clothe your family then yes it does get your back up.

Home Office reports for last year state that from over 180,000 Asylum seekers seeking 'sanctuary' in the UK, between 80-85% were granted asylum and allowed to stay.

Figure-wise that is over 130,000 extra citizens the UK gained last year.

 

My point is simple, We have thousands of "British" homeless Living on the streets of our country, and contrary to popular belief they are not all ex-cons, criminals and smack-heads, lots are mentally ill and recieve daily persecution from their own countrymen and women. Why should we prioritise(sp?) these asylum seekers over our own people? 'Charity begins at home' We need to start helping our own!

 

This government is quickly loosing the publics respect, While the majority of people, young, old, rich or poor agree that we need to help these people, We all ask ourselves, 'where this will end?', In ten years time at the going rate, the 'born and bred' British man/woman will be the racial minority in his/her own country.

 

If I become homeless tommorow, the council won't help me, the best they can be arsed to do is give me a list of local hostels/nightshelters. If 'roles-reversed' an Asylum seeker does the same after getting to the shores of Britain, the majority are housed immediately in hotels, B+Bs etc...

It is [censored] wrong, I was homeless for 12 months and personaly it makes me sick that this government chooses to look after and prioritise(sp?-again!) foreigners before their own people who voted them into power!

 

If we want to stem the rise of such political parties such as the B.N.P, this situation needs to be addressed, otherwise our generation may find itself in the middle of a racially agravated(sp?) civil war.

 

Harsh? Yes, But possible? Very much so.

I agree with you that something needs to be done, but what exactly is a born and bred British man/woman. My family are of scandinavian and Irish descent.

I am refering to the British white man/woman, Yes sounds racist, But the fact is that in 3 seperate Counties in the UK, the British, Born and Bred, White man/woman are the racial minority, they are outnumbered by the Pakistanis, Afro Carribean, Chinese etc... I would not class myself as a racist yet find my views very 'right wing'
