have to agree with you there mate, trance has lost all its appeal with me aswell. But then again Hard house never really had any appeal.

The night isnt about what i want, or what music i like. I want to put on a night that has variety but stays in the boundries of being pretty pumpin. The night will be aimed at what i feel will work well in this country but move the scene on a little. I dont see the point of putting on a night that wont appeal to the punters here. You have to remember that N.Ireland is nothing like England. We are alot smaller and things need to be done alot more carefully.

Another goal of putting on this night is to intoduce CTW to Ireland, so to be able to do this and be able to book CTW DJs it will have to fit musically into what you guys play.

 

I will be putting on a techno night more aimed at what im all about, but this will be on a smaller scale.

 

PPL will probably call it hypercritical but hey who cares

Thanks, like i said this night isnt all about me. It is a good chance for CTW to make an impact in this country. We deffo have the DJs to do it. I hold high hopes for the night and am looking foward to being able to book DJs like yourself, ToxicTwins, Tony P, Andy Whitby to come over and play.

 

I have a laugh when i slag off HH or trance or whatever. The things i say are what i think but we all see things differently at the end of the day.

the majority of hard house i think is utter shite

 

i dont hate all hard house cos occasionally u get 1 tune that i think..this is fooking ace... but 90% of it i think is [censored].. just not enough variation in it..

 

after a while it becomes samey and bland no matter how hard it is.. i think there is a lot of people out there who only like it because its hard and fast

well its been around since 92/93.. so doubtful 'they' are gonna kill it off... its too broad in scope to just die...

unlike hard house (the new happy hardcore)
