Juast wondered if anyone had heard them, so I know what to expect. It should be ok, they're playing a 90's classics set. Get in! Quote Anyone fancy a bongle with bungle? CTW Members Dave M Posted May 30, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted May 30, 2003 i've not seen them since fantasia days(early 90's) they aren't my choice of music now. i discovered trade(not literally), and decided i liked my beats heavy and fast
CTW Members Bungle Posted May 30, 2003 Author CTW Members Share Posted May 30, 2003 Yeah. I definatly prefer it nice and But it makes a nice change to hear something a bit different every now and again. It sounds like they should be the best of the people we've got booked for the near future. We've got Brandon Block tomorrow and the Alex P, Steve Lawler and Jules and vern in the next couple of months. Not too bad for a 200 capacity bar in a shite town. They/he/she play funky. legendary act of the early 90s, they did "Let Me Show You", one of the greatest piano dance tunes of all time (in my all-time top five)! you'll know it when you hear it! in fact, it's probably time someone did a really SHITE hard house remake of it, but that's another thread altogether. today they're more into producing proggy-type house stuff, their recent single "Talk 2 Me" wasn't half bad, but they did a DJ set in Glasgow recently and i apparently they totally rocked the place! funky i think. if they're doing 90s classics you're in for a good night i reckon. i'd be grinning from ear to ear. CTW Members TomD Posted June 2, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted June 2, 2003 ah yes, you mean "Let Me Show You" by Camisra - the one with the Sandy B sample and "let me show you what i'm capable of" spoken over the top. it's a good guess but it's not the one! CTW Members Ed_worx Posted June 6, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted June 6, 2003 I met Russ and Paul (aka K KLASS)when i was djing once and they are both complete nutters they have wives and kids now but russ looks as if he took far too many class A's in the early 90's which he proberly did! As for their music that they play now is abit so so but if they play a classic old skool set its awesome, these guys shaped dance music from the 90's onwards with some of the biggest records of our generation. They have even done remix's for Holly Valance, S Club 7, Bewitched and Delacey(Hideaway). As well as nearly 60 of their own productions including: K KLASS DON'T STOP K KLASS RHYTHM IS A MYSTERY K KLASS LIVE IT UP K KLASS BURNIN'
