......Moved my records home from uni today, and have managed to snap 'ride the groove' by Nick Sentience....

 

The 'Turmoil Mix' of this record was one of my fave tunes and im [censored] gutted that its gone

 

The hunt for a new copy begins now!!!!!!

Something similar happened to me last year just before my New Year's gig.

 

I checked into the hotel in Swakopmund, and the ppl that took my stuff up just left my vinyl on the table...in the f*ckin' sun

 

It was Lee Haslam - Music Is The Drug and Guyver - Serious Sound which got melted I was sooo pissed

i was trying to sort out one of my records which had a bit of that 'bowl shape' thing going on....

 

snapped the fooker in two with my hands.. felt like a proper dick...lol

Yea, that's gotta suck hey...A guy I know over in Canada had one of his vinyls snapped by DJ Tiesto He was the warm-up DJ, and apparently Tiesto had a nasty attitude towards him, and threw the vinyl onto the floor because it was in his "working space"...that's [censored] up

hehehe - i have a spare slipmatt thats bowl shapped to get around this problem - i put the 2nd slipmatt on top of the first and the vinyl on and walla

ever tried using a hairdryer? heat it up sandwich it between 2 big books/pieces of wood then weigh it down with something heavy....worked a treat of a few of my tunes

best way to do it ive found is hold it above a boiling kettle.. but this particular tune just wasnt having it... top choon too!!! Plastic Boy 'silverbath'
