CTW Members LiquidEyes Posted June 17, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted June 17, 2003 Don't really have many good techno CDs to recommend. I usually only enthuse over a couple of tunes off the average compilation. "Sound of Eukatech 4" never strays far from my CD player though, plus some bootleg Carl Cox / Billy Nasty recordings. Apart from that I could recommend piles of singles! I agree about music that breaks down all the time, yawn! Also, good "techy" music doesn't have to resort to mindlessly fast BPMs to be energetic and intense.
CTW Members alasdairm Posted June 18, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted June 18, 2003 "decks, efx and 909" by ritchie hawtin is brilliant. i saw him spin about 2 years ago and he was using 2 decks as well as his own drum machine to play live elements along with the stuff he was spinning - he's very talented... alasdair Quote "I've got medication, honey.
