I heard it went to 1000bpm, but only quickly, then right back down (or it stops.. not sure)

I find it hard to believe that it really does go up to 1000bpm - that would be more than 16 beats per second. (Try counting in your head.)

Now, it may be that there several kick drums to each beat, but that would not count as a higher BPM. (Loads of hard house tunes have "kick rolls".)

 

However if somebody posts a link to the tune, I will check it out and give you an informed "music student" perspective on the contentious BPM issue!! grin.gif

 

The word "novelty value" still springs to mind however... wink.gif

it goes from 140-180 bpm and back to 140 bpm
