Have been buying loads of his stuff lately, all perfect examples of hard house thats not trying to be techno - rather just hardhouse with a techno influence.

yeah, my mate promotes it. but it wasnt really techno from the lineup i saw.

 

i was on about slower more subtle tribal kinda techno rather than 'bang bang bish bosh'

in the brauder sence of the term yes. but thats like comparing tiesto to rob tissera. theyre both trancy, but rob like to bang it out more

 

the point i was trying to make was that alex calver plays the more anal puristic sound thats far removed from hardhouse, hence him being a versitile dj and producer

Ermm excuse me Laurence, you asked about Alex Calver playing out, to which chris replied with he does & I added that he plays in london, for your benefit, so why the posts??

 

Why say you are making a point?? & who was comparing anyone, I merely said, that Fusion is where he is/was a resident for their techno room & that other techno dj's, as far as im aware play there too.
