Dont think so mate, Fergie is just a mate. I dont totally idolise him. My signiture and that is just a bit of a laugh. I made this post cos i like the cd, thats all. And anyway, how the [censored] is he a sell out? Isnt someone allowed to change their style?? Fergie played HH when he was young, and his tastes changed. Doesnt everyones? He wanted to make the change but like anyone he had a career to think about so didnt just change overnight, but developed it over a while. Now he is happy with what he plays. Do you suggest he shouldve kept playin HH just to keep some looned up, hoover lovin clubbers happy? Goin with judge jules whatever way u look at it is selling out mate!! at least he was underground when he played hh! how do u know him anyway? CTW DJs LiamStyles Posted July 3, 2003 Author CTW DJs Share Posted July 3, 2003 Right so you're sayin you would turn down a slot on radio 1? Bollox! You tell me what he played then after HH, cos i dont know what you're getting at. He had to progress to playin the stuff he is now. It wouldve been to bit a jump. He was realistic about it. CTW DJs LiamStyles Posted July 3, 2003 Author CTW DJs Share Posted July 3, 2003 haha, im sure it does. But one thing people dont know about him is he puts so much money and effort back into the clubscene over here. He organises an annual DJ comp/workshop. One that the winners actually gain from. I for one can vouch for this as i won it and it got me so many gigs. Plus he uses his show on radio 1 to promote new talent and give them the opportunity to get on air. How many other radio 1 DJs do that? He has had DJs from over here aswell as English and international DJs. Is another prime case of ppl mis-judging someone (not just you) when they dont know the full story.
