And do you know that Vienna never got to Number One? I think that has to be one of the biggest musical crimes ever. [i believe it was kept off top spot by Joe Dulche - Shaddapa ya face, but I could be wrong]

I learned this to my peril. First ever record I wanted to buy with my birthday money was Vienna, and my babysitter told me it was number 1 in the charts. So off I toddled with my mom to the record store and said "i love that song that's number one, mom, i want that but i dont know what it's called"

The man in the store handed me this record and i looked at it dubiously, thinking hmmm i'm not sure this is it..

Guess what i ended up with..

Wasn't Shaddapa ya face (but yes that did keep Vienna off the number one slot)..

No, guess..

I could have cried..

Don't laugh..

Blatantly the best decade of music ever.

Glad to see someone else agrees with me. Yes it had its fair share of crap, just like every other decade, but there are plenty of other gems out there.
