RULES FOR ALL SERIOUS FORUMS

 

These rules are intended to promote the smooth running of the serious issues forums. Censorship is not the aim of the game. We simply want everybody to get the most out of the forums. If we can all abide by the following simple rules, life should be easy.

 

1. Call me obvious but can we all please remember to post new threads only on relevant subjects in each forum ...and can we please, please, please keep it serious . Random Bollox and FAO provide plenty of scope for piss-taking, jokes and any kind of wind-up.

 

2. When offering advice, please make it clear where your experience comes from - i.e. personal experience, medical knowledge, another website or even 'this is just my opinion'. We are all guilty of taking each others comments for granted - let's make it easier for people to understand where we are coming from.

 

3. Offensive posts aimed at members will not be tolerated. If you disagree with their point of view, state your argument and leave it up to other people to decide. Reasoned debate will be encouraged, tit-for-tat slanging matches will be removed.

 

4. Please quote the source of all references . If these are online, pm one of the mods to post a link for you in the thread. If you cannot substantiate a claim, please say so.

 

5. Please note that all off topic posts will be deleted without explanation at the earliest opportunity.

 

6. If you have a problem, pm a mod or admin that you can see is online (Use the 'Who's Online' Button on the menu bar!). Adding your complaints to the thread will make matters worse!

 

7. As with all ctw forums, please be careful not to make claims about illegal activities . This is particularly relevant in the Drugs Forum. This is a public message board - Please make an effort to take the risk out of the situation...or your posts may be moderated.
