CTW Members TomD Posted June 25, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted June 25, 2003 first point still stands. although to be fair to the other side, there have been a fair few [censored] trance covers, especially recently. you only need to go into your local HMV 12" dept to find them. i saw a couple when i went in yesterday that were [censored] awful - "Moonlight Shadow" (yes, Mike Oldfield), "Time After Time" (yes, Cyndi Lauper) and "I Just Died In Your Arms" (yes, Cutting Crew). and don't forget the contributions that Flip & Fill have made to UK music. Hang the [censored] on fool, these are NOT proper trance tunes, these are cheesy wankers thinking they are the dogs bollox with mixing and producing. A quick buck then thats it - GONE. But dont ever compare that [censored] with trance. I agree but you dont consider Flip & Fill to be trance surely ? Please dont say you do or I'll have to beat you around the head. DJ Sammy and all that crap can [censored] off and stick with the charts and label it Pop. For Kids.
