if i had the money id b out all the time but simple fact is i work 15 hours a week and just cant afford 2!

 

hopefully ill b out an about a lot more this summer tho!

I know Paula.. but living in Andover, with two children its very difficult to get up north for these events!!

 

But it would be nice for north & south to meet up for the occasional event half way say!!!

i honestly hadnt heard much about the event not in the last few weeks anyway.... i remember u mentioning it to me paula, when i was up at north, but ive not even seen any posts about it

TBH though, I really couldn't afford it - not with SS all nighter and TvD both this week.... *And* you saw what over doing it did to me for SS Norf

Its a pity we cant have some CTW DJs playing at a night like this in London as I reckon the enthusiamn and attendance down here would be great. Friday nights for most Londoners is a bit tricky as well.

My point wasnt that the members (especially ones from down in London etc) should come & support the djs - more that a simple "Hope your night goes ok" would have been enough. Sometimes i feel like i give everything to the site & just get nothing but negative comments about taking control over stuff or making the site too commercial. Maybe its just me feeling crap today

Thats easier said than done though - i would love to get a night going down in London but it would be very hard when im not living there. I know Leeds & i know venues / club owners etc, its easy for me to flyer here - how on earth would i be able to have weekly meetings down there? Without knowing the area & contacts within it its very hard to promote a night sucessfully

oh.. i thought it was something to do with that spinback agency thing... which all seemed to be hard house, so i never sent anything cos i didnt think it could really be of any help to me

i didnt realise it was all down too u too organise sarah. i thought if it was something too do with CTW, then other ppl would organise that area.

I posted a while ago that everyone was welcome to put a biog up & send me a mix cd - those were the only conditions.

If you read the spinback dj profiles as well though you will see that it isnt just hard house - they have funky djs, house djs & techno as well. All the hardhouse djs signed to them regularly play funky in bars in leeds as well.

Incision is mine & Gillys own night with all costs etc coming out of our pockets, it isnt really associated with CTW even though i will have the CTW banners up on the night.

My reason for starting it up was because i wanted a night where i could give everyone a chance to play at. I want to hopefully put ANYONE (providing they can mix of course!) off CTW that wants to play at it a chance - all i need is a mix cd so that i can see what style they play and at which set i would require them to play at.

 

Anyone wanting to play please dont wait for me to ask you or for me to chase you up - just keep pestering me until i can get you on there
