It is something i have very strong opinions on.

I'll make an exception for artists who remix a tune that would otherwise have been ignored.

 

E.g. I love Basement Jaxx's "Bingo Bango", even though it is almost completely nicked! But I never would have heard the tune if it hadn't been for them...

 

The original is just as good a tune, but the BJ version has better production and works better in a club.

Well there's a house remix coming out of an ELton John track (I kid you not) that "blew up in Miami" (always suspicious of this) but it's coming out in Aug.
