You know, I used to think the same with other DJz when I first got into the clubbing scene and learned who played what, and who is who. In the early days, I never really liked BK or even the Tidy Boys, and when I made my decision that I didn't like these DJz, I refused to go back on my word, I refused to go watch them play, I refused to "give them a chance" and actually listen to them play. I basically (and some ppl do this) opinionated them on a [censored] set that "didn't do it for me" when they had performed to a crowd who loved the DJz I didn't like. Ignorance. That's what it is. I then realised, that I couldnt really base my stupid opinion just by one set that i didn't "click" with. So I went along to a sunddissential night in my early days of clubbing when BK was playing, and boy was I wrong. Same with Tidy Boys. I guess I was just to spitefull to give these ppl a chance to show what they are made of. I was impressed when I did. And still am today. No DJ is perfect, and not all DJz suit ones taste. I find alot of ppl jump on the bandwagon with certain DJz they do not like. It happens. Although I never have understood why. I say all this, because, I never thought much of Eddie. He never really "did it" for me. And when going out on weekends, or seeing his name on a flyer, it's never interested me to go see him play. Last weekend at Camden, I loved every single minute of his set. IMO he played a very intense set that I thouroughly (sp?) enjoyed. I can't describe what his set was like. It was just amazing IMHO, and, sinse seeing him perform last Saturday, iv realised not to judge a DJ or anyone for that matter, on a [censored] performance. It happens. [censored] happens.
