As you said, Maria, it's spent on the good times and enjoying it. Afterall, you can't take it with you at the end of the day! Though if I take my 5 years clubbing - the first year prolly spent about £1500... After that say £3000 a year - that's £13500. If I'd bought a house 5 years ago then that would've been well over a quarter paid off by now (and the house would be a bout £80k in todays market). But I wouldn't have enjoyed it anywhere near as much and would've been stuck staying in most of the past 5 years. At the end of the day, you can't take money with you when you pop yer clogs, so enjoy it whilst you can!
