DUnno which though. Give me advise i cant afford too much? Mum and bro both have the 3510i, dad the 3510 - they've never had any probs with them... The i version is the colour version, and does the job. They seem pretty robust phones.... I'd deffo go for a 3510i over the 5510, or the 3510 "normal" version. CTW Members campalena Posted July 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 8, 2003 I want one that can store txt messages on the phone memory itself as opposed to the 10-12 u can store on sim card. Which one does that out of 3510, 3510I or 5210? Quote Lifes mission... get wasted, have a good time, avoid work as much as possible!
CTW Members Bukey Posted July 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 8, 2003 I believe the 3510i does.... And the 3510.... (But deffo go for the i version, there's a fair few improvements). CTW Members Trudes Posted July 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 8, 2003 you'd be better off with an 8310, they can store up to 150 messages, but be warned they are tempramental and occaionally have software problems, if thats too pricey then u want the 3510i cos that stores about the same but again they can have software pros, but the graphics and ringtones are not too shabby, one bad thing is it doesn't have snake on it, but if u can live without that ur sorted

I would not go for an 8310 over a 3510, unless size was the only guiding factor... And then I'd go for a 6510. 3510 is a newer phone than the 8310, the 3510i is colour, has java games, polyphonic ringtones and multmedia receiving capabilities... The 8310 is monochrome, monotone ringtones and has a well documented history of issues... CTW Members Trudes Posted July 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 8, 2003 i did actually mean that the 8310 is good for space, but not good for anything else, i've got one, had mine nearly a year now and i'm sick to death of the probs with it, grrrrr @ nokia, anyway thats not the issue, i know the 8310 is a pile of crap and i wouldn't advise my worst enemy to get one, unless they wanted it for space
