best thing ive bought, very hands on aswell which appeals to me (and most djs)

A good selection of effects so you dont end up over doing the same few presets.

 

That alongside with a redsound cycleloops, oh the endless fun

ive heard shan talking about those cycloops thingys, are they easy to use cos ive been trying to loop stuff on a cdj1000 and its an absolute nightmare. i cant get my timing tight enough to then mix into the loop

Looping the 'live' record is a messy affair on the Pioneer CDJs. It's possible, but there's a luck element as to whether you get the loop points bang on to start with!

 

I find the loop function quite handy for cueing though, because obviously you have the opportunity to get the loop points exactly right, which is pretty piss.

 

Set up the loop;

leave it looping;

bring the record in whenever you like;

'exit' the loop when ready.

 

Now you can't do that with vinyl!

thats why i usually use the djm600 but it pisses me off not bein able to eq or run an effect over it

Yeah cycleloops is a piece of piss to use "live". its very intelligent, as in: it automatically syncs your loop at the exact loop points required and also to the exact bpm of the music u are playin.
