Wicked night, amazing turn-out in the P&P beforehand. Great to finally meet Sparky, Squirrel and friends ! I was feeling a little tired from Friday and Saturday so I'm afraid I didnt even stay until the end but thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd room - well pleased to see the hard room at that larger top room - its deffo my faiv room and wicked sound system.

Gilly & Deano played a blinder of a set and the atmosphere was electric - was a pleasure having them play on behalf of the site! Cheers guys - see you in Ibiza smile.gif

Glazy was 'ok' but he obviously couldnt bang it out as he was on so early. Without a doubt though my faiv set came from Phil Reynolds (yet again) - the man is a legend (IMO) - always banging out my faivourite style which is more 'driving'.

Couldnt believe how many people were there - well over 40 I would say - again though the problem is being in 2 (or 3!) places at once. Managed to get into see Guy playing his funky stuff for a bit but would have loved to have stayed longer.

I dont think I spent any time in the main room - not through choice though - I think I walked through a couple of times to get some piccies but i found i kept getting lured back to the harder room! Its nice to be nearer the DJs as well and pick up a few tricks from watching them.

Was so darn knackered after the weekends antics I didnt wake up until 2.15 on Monday afternoon and completely missed my ski session with VideoMikey - sorry dude - I was soooo tired and couldnt get up frown.gif

All in all though a fantastic weekend and cheers to Kev for sorting out the picnic on Saturday so well - i'm just hoping we can get stuff set up like this elsewhere so its not just the Londoners.

Hopefully we'll get to do some more Wildchild events in the future as well.

Agreed mate - the night was quality and good to meet loads of CTW'ers.

Squirrel and I spent most of the night in the second room and we generally thought Gilly and Deano played the best music up there (the others, Phil Reynolds included) were really good too. We went down to catch Lisa Lashes (to which point we went and grabbed a tea - not sure if that was us flaking or her set not being as good as it could have been) and came back to find most of our crowd having it big time behind the decks with BK (head fcuk!)

First time I'd caught BK and I thought he was awesome - I can't ever recall bouncing around like that at 8am and still eager for more and not being bored or anything by then. BK - my new favourite DJ (sorry Eddie Halliwell, down to 2nd smile.gif)

The afterparty was pretty good too - I apologise to anyone for looking, er, a bit enegetic and dancing like a looney, but as I pointed out to the others - it was supposed to be an "After Party" not an "After Comedown" wink.gif

All in all, Wildchild proved to be the best time I've had at Heaven and probably one of the best nights clubbing in London. God, we did a full 10 hour sesh man + the afterparty (must have been 4 / 4.5 hours we were there).

Didn't get to sleep till 9pm last night....funnily enough feeling a little crap this morning.

Take care people

Hey Deano - thanks a lot mate for doing such a great set full of energy - the atmosphere was electric when you guys were on.

Sorry about all the [censored]/arguments leading up to the event mate. I've realised its all academic - you were playing on behalf of the site and you did us proud mate - thats all the counts at the end of the day.

I dont think there will be too many people complaining about who you are now!

Yep, was really 'aving it behind the decks with Alex and Mr E whilst BK played a stormer. Was a highlight of a top weekend.

The after party at Shillibeers was good, although things did get a bit political when the funky housateers, the trance heads and the hardhousers went to war over the decks. Was fun when Murder was the Bass came on and we all bounced around like maniacs...

Was good to meet so many CTWers especially when we had our impromptu meet-up downstairs.
