If you use the right products it should be fine!! I HATE using mousse and hairspray etc on my hair tho! As long as it looks decent, I dont care about the rest of me! Toni and Guy are good yes, been a few times and had my hair done, but they do cost a lot, ur right.... as to if its worth it or not then i think yes and no They are expensive - my gay mate in work went to see them a few month ago and paid a large some of money for some whakey style but it DID look good! He DID get his moolahs worth! Im not really bothered about the price to be honest, I pay £53 every time I go get my hair done, but the result is great. Myabe one weekend when Im at James', il find out where their sallon is based and make an appointment and bring James with me! .... it all depends what you hairdresser at the moment is like, if theyre good but ur just bothered about the condition of your hair then you can work on using different styling products, shampoos and conditioners because they contribute a HUGE amount to how ur hair is, splash out on a few more expensive products (maybe look for a shine catalyst too (locks in shine), the only one i know is in a green bottle - ill find out what make it is for u) and see if that helps at all, the way u blow dry ur hair definately has a lot to with the end result with how it looks and its condition.... A bit of both. I liek my hair to look neat and healthy. But I DO use Alberto Balsom shamp & Con, which are very good products! Any more professional products that are highly recomended that you know of, let me know! always point the nozzle of the hair dryer down ur hair from above it and use ur round bristle brush to brush through ur hair with the nozzle close to the hair. By doin this the hot air is sealing the cutlicles in ur hair which makes ur hair shine and stops it frizzing, make sure u pay special attention to the ends doin this as this is where the frizz starts frizzing. Its not all about the hairdressing, its about how u look after it at home mainly. I don;t like dryiong my hair I prefer to let it dry naturally, ony because as it dries, I can even mousse my hair when it is wet/damp. I do like my hair to have the wet look - it looks lush But I need to get rid of the dryness in my hair from where I have DAMAGED it from ironing my hair - and when my hair has naturally dried, you can see and feel the damage so I just iron it so it looks good again ! Check out the [censored] hair discussion in this thread! Oh my god! I soulnd like a propper fussy bitch! YES, so am I - do u realise how long its been since iv been out in UK and got wankered? hahaha!! Iv suddenly rediscovered my love for norty things after bein in ibiza Oh eh?! Need I ask! Believe it or not mousse protects your hair from heat appliances - styling products are good for your hair so long as not overused and left to build up, which is where the decent shampoo and conditoner come in hehe. Any more professional products that are highly recomended that you know of, let me know! ill get u a list of products that i recommend that have been recommended to me by hairdressers etc (as i always ask advice when i go, specially toni and guy when iv been there... and also i have a mate who is a stylist who lives on the wirral who gave me loadsa product advice etc which is where all this info comes from) quote] I don;t like dryiong my hair I prefer to my hair when it is wet/damp. Ok, well a hairdresser cant get rid of the damage you have done, they will just advise you on stylin products to use and although once they have done ur hair it feels like they have repaired ur hair, they havent... its the products they use and how they style it (how they blow dry it) you cant automatically repair damage done to your hair but you can help it to look in better condition with the right products and styling and ultimately by using these methods u a) prevent any more damage being done to your hair/or creating minimal damage and put nutrients and things back into ur hair which does kinda make it in better condition, but this takes some time to do as it wont happen over night!!
