CTW DJs Chris-Hutchinson Posted June 21, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted June 21, 2004 QUOTE (LTM @ Jun 20 2004, 23:10) Overground is pop and chart music, the tunes your parents know the names of, the tunes that a re A/B listed on radio surely a commercial scene is one that is readily available to anyone without having to look too hard?? The fact you can go to the biggest venues in england and find hardhouse/trance nights there at least once over a weekend suggests a very UN-underground scene to me.... Its the same with techno - people call it underground, yet techno festivals in europe attract THOUSANDS of people.....not really underground is it? Another way of looking at it could be how much the big names are paid in their scenes - thats all tied into commercial success
