I´m all for diversity, but if had to be one thing, it really has to be t.r.a.n.c.e. - not some of the recent bollox (like resident transmission, 1 and 2, what sorry excuses they are) but like the good old stuff, except...new!

I missed out on what I imagine where the real trance nation days, 98,99,00 as I was hardly clubbing, I just listened to the cd´s and thought "wow!"

I agree with ya mate. I still like listening to trance, but to dance to it in a club is difficult now cos its slower than i'm used to now.

I love the resident transmission cd's too, but then i've always loved that crasher sound!!

dont know which number it is, but trance nation (mos) with ferry corsten in the oragne and black box is pretty special for me.

 

I know we shouldn´t be too nostalgic all the time, but it simply seems like where there used to be a really cool set of ideas and emotions behind trance back then, there´s too much over energetic hard house and trance, to be honest so much of it is just terrible, not just the ´sound´, but the musicians behind them seem to have even less talent than those behind the 98 99 00 days, and even then they could have done better, so instead of hearing that sort of stuff now, all we get is some hardcore insanity.
