CTW Members Sparky Posted July 29, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 29, 2003 I know its not that new but I've been listening to this constantly since I've got back from GKGG. Witnessed Tiesto's blinding set at 10pm and loved the way he was properly 'aving it behind the decks. This CD is just soooo good - its pure, unadulterated, driving trance. Tracks 4-9 on the 2nd CD form a special euphoric journey and includes that CTW fave "When the Rush Comes"... If you remotely like trance, you'll fall in love with Tiesto after this. CTW Members EliteChick Posted July 29, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 29, 2003 yep Tiesto is amazing to watch and i love that Nyana cd very uplifting!! Quote If i should die this very moment, I wouldn't fear, For i have known completeness like being here. Wrapped in the warmth of you, Loving every breath of you, Still my heart this moment or it might burst, Can we stay right here, Untill the end of time, Till the seas stop churning, Wanna love you till the seas run dry. Cos Ive found the one i am searching for...........the one.
CTW Members FredTheBaddie Posted July 30, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 30, 2003 Second CD is good, the first starts off a bit too techno-y for my tastes. CTW Members Wonky Posted July 30, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 30, 2003 the indoor cd is absolutely wicked, ive been caining it for a while now. Sarah Maclachlin who does the vocals on a couple of the tunes has got the best voice around imo
CTW DJs Ian Cashman Posted July 30, 2003 CTW DJs Share Posted July 30, 2003 i was disappointed with it to be honest, and im a huge tiesto fan.. but i think its cos ive got loads of his sets downloaded so the whole cd sounded a bit '6 months old' (apart from the 2 or 3 white label tracks)

CTW Members colin66 Posted August 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted August 8, 2003 This cd is fuckin quality. The first cd I didn't like at first but has really grown on me - track 5 Planisphere and track 11 electronic malfunction are superb. The second one, Track 9 - 'never' that goes on for about 9 minutes but completely changes half way thru - quality! plus all the tracks that follow it including omfg 'Solid globe - north porth' need i say more! CTW Members fintbeast Posted August 8, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted August 8, 2003 Col, I'm worried...someone blatantly stole your trance genes at birth, cloned them and gave them to me...those (apart from Motorcycle and Andain, obviously!) are the same choons I've been raving about. Do you remember that thread suggesting choons for the ctw night in Nottingham?... Quote Finbar Sow and thou shalt reap, oh brother.

I think Tiesto's playing virtually every week at Amnesia. Last week he played a very similar set to the one that he played at GKGG. PVD played a very banging set and Oakenfold was just gash playing the same set as he did at Gatecrasher London (May) and Homelands - he was completely uninspiring.
