CTW Promotors ElsxBells Posted August 6, 2003 CTW Promotors Share Posted August 6, 2003 Doesnt look like I can make it. To be honest I don't have much money and dont like the P&P. Would def be up for a drink if it was somewhere cheaper and nicer!!!!! Who is choosing the pubs? The P&P is ok as a meeting point for nights out at Heaven etc. but its rubbish to spend the whole night at!!!

The cheapest pubs - ie wetherspoons - have the atmosphere of a dead frog. CTW Promotors ElsxBells Posted August 6, 2003 CTW Promotors Share Posted August 6, 2003 why not go wetherspoons in camden then. it has music and an outside bit next to the canal. surely there are other place to go that are cheaper but nice. The P&P is expensive and is seriously lacking in atmosphere. i enjoyed the place in docklands, it was pricey bt at least the money seemed worth it coz it was a nice bar. i'm not tryin to start an arguement, bt not everytbody on here is earning the same amounts and some people cant afford the places ctw are going midweek. This is the problem, maybe it'd be a good idea to vary the venues on peoples suggestions perhaps ? I agree on the money situation totally. CTW Members Tara Posted August 6, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted August 6, 2003 I'm with Elly on this one. The Wetherspoons in Camden would be perfect for a day like this coz theres a nice outdoor seating area and music, better than being stuck indoors. And I am well aware that Camden isn't the best area but for fucks sake, stop being such snobs! Not all of us can afford to be choosy. Anyway yeah, I think we need to find cheaper places at least...
