Tunes - the non posting forum

I'm not being funny here, or trying to speak out of term but it appears that this forum gets very little use. Surely with the amount of DJ's on here, there should be loads of tune/cd reviews etc.

i gave up - nobody ever replies to posts about tunes unless its a big, well known track from tidy/nukleuz (as an example for hardhouse)...

Agreed Diablo, and as soon as I have finished my dissertation, I will be doing some reviews, although these will obviously be Hard Dance based.

 

If anyone wants to do reviews for this forum, or the site feel free to PM please, as we could do with some Trance/ Funky/ US/ whatever reviews.

this forum does get used, not as much as the others, but it is ideal for the DJ's on the site to chat about tracks/tunes etc!!

Yeah, i'm gonna start adding these when i get sorted at home, and have more time and patience to add these to the site.

 

We could also start reviewing DJ's demo's too?

 

Bit awkward for me, with moving to a new desk in the office to post anything on the site after today, but i'll still be here!

I think this gets done on music reviews page? It isnt loading at the moment but i seem to remember a coupla reviews goin on regarding cds sent out?!

Yes, well it'd would be nice to get more reviews as well, and some reviews of different styles of music.

Completely agree with you... its just gettin the people for the other styles of music to do this and also for enough interest off people to reply to these posts to make them feel like its worth bothering, like Chris said he tried but didnt seem to get much response so gave up!! This forum definately needs more variation and also more use!!

 

Another thing you could ask people to do when posting about a tune is what they do in the events section and label the topic title as what genre of music things are.... might make the other genres stand out abit more to people?!

I would post more about the tunes I get but judging by some of the comments recently I dont know the 'correct' terminology for sounds & would only get shot down in a ball of flames as I cant say anything constructive about the music I play! *says very tongue in cheek*

I don't know all the correct terminology, but it don't mean I ain't got something to add to a discussion, and so have you!

I encourage small time DJ's to talk about their new tunes rather than already big tunes being promoted all the time.

No no no, you got me wrong, I was saying you SHOULD post in here, cos it's all about opinions, not how much you know technically, and that I'm the same as you, in that i don't know the terminology, but enjoy debating tunes!

 

I listened to your CD at Creamy's the other day by the way, and its' ace!!
