Tunes - the non posting forum

its all getting confusing now........you wont get rid of me out the forum that easy!

 

I was kinda making the point of some people may not post in here because they dont have the knowledge on explaining a tune other than its banging or I dont like it. Yeah a little more is helpful but how can you describe how a tune grips you when it does?, especially when you cant say the bassline is 'this' or the riff is 'that' because of the lack of technical knowledge. While there are a number of people on the board who produce or have the knowledge there are lots more who dont!

 

I know a good tune for me personally because it grips me a certain way....trying to explain that can be difficult.

 

I enjoy coming into the forum and looking at what ppl have to say and every now and again I do post. The whole idea of djing for me is that its my expression, a feeling, the whole technical side of tune production interests me as I dont know much about it but it doesnt carry the same weight for me as how that tune makes you feel, maybe thats because of the ignorance

Glad you like the cd, since being on the board and sending out the cds, the feedback I've been getting has given me a huge boost and it's great to know that theres ppl out there who enjoy what I do

posted some reviews on smaller labels and the only tune people replyed to was teh 1 tune that wasnt even out yet just cuz it was a vicious circle tune

i try and reply... like i have done about guy mccaffer on raw etc.... sometimes i miss posts tho but i do always try to reply to things if they interest me no matter what genre.... even if its to find out more cos i havent heard it or somethin!!
